Having made
our home here in this neighborhood since
1975, we at Allegheny West Magazine enjoy a
fulfilling relationship of giving back to
many non-profit organizations that enrich
our already special communities. It’s our
way to thank our community for what they do
to support us as their community
“storytellers.” |

…and many

groups. |

|
We enjoy
supporting the Moon, Montour, and West
Allegheny School Districts by sponsoring ads
in their school musicals and sports
programs. We also support many of our local
private and parochial schools with
sponsorships and/or donations for their
fundraisers. |
| |
|
We welcome
school news and offer space anytime, when
possible, for information about the
students, staff, programs, activities,
curriculums, and other news to inform
readers. |
| |
|
Through a
partnership with the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG
Aquarium, we provide in-kind ad space in our
magazines during their high season in return
for admission tickets each year. We donate
hundreds of those tickets back to local
churches, schools, and parent groups each
year. |
|
In 2011 we began a new partnership with
Animal Friends to help promote the needs of
this important organization in the support
and rescue of animals. |
| |
|
Additionally, Allegheny West Magazine is a
key sponsor for two very important
organizations in the community we call home:
the all-volunteer Christmas Drive-Through
Light Display in Clinton and the Western
Allegheny Community Library building fund
event, “An Evening Under the Stars.” We
provide both organizations with advertising
space, printing of materials such as flyers,
posters, tickets, and programs, and
marketing support to reach the media and
beyond. |
| |
|
Additionally, we donate gift certificates
and gift baskets to many area charity
functions, golf outings, and organizational
fundraisers to help the communities we
serve. Since 2004, we have donated more than
70 gift certificates for free ads in our
magazines, to be auctioned off at numerous
community Chinese and Silent Auction events,
totaling approximately $15,000.
